Good but not great.

Some of this is my fault for not researching further but some of it is fixable from the Whirplool side. I like the fridge overall. It looks nice and has the space needed for residential use. I like the size of the ice container in the freezer that the water/ice dispenser is flawless. I wish I had looked further at the interior when looking for a new fridge. The main shelves are not adjustable which limits the things I can place in the main shelf area. Specifically a gallon of milk barely fits in the top shelf. The cap of the milk jug rubs the top of the fridge. The door shelves are adjustable but I don't really have a need for smaller items to need a ton of adjustable space. The issue Whirpool could work on is the compressor sound. It's rather loud and seems to run longer than usual for a fridge. I have the cold settings set at the recommended "mid" range so it's not like I'm having it go sub-zero for the freezer. Overall it's a good fridge just be aware of the shelving and compressor notations.

I have owned my new whirlpool refrigerator for a few weeks now. It has made me surprisingly happy! I actually went down 5 ft.³ from the last Refrigerator I owned. But this refrigerator actually feels bigger! They have cleverly designed the inside to utilize every bit of space! I like how everything is see-through. And cleanly clear. I can easily see all of my food. I especially enjoy the design of the water and ice dispenser. My last refrigerator used the same dispenser for both. But this one has a separate one for the water and ice. Overall I™€™m very happy! My only criticism would be that it is such a light refrigerator, it easily moves away from the wall when we open the door! I thought it would stop doing that when we filled it, but it still seems to slide forward. Perhaps we are too strong for our own good!

This appliance offers a streamlined, contemporary appearance and has a spacious interior for a smaller unit. The lighting is bright, and it's easy to see the contents of the sleek glass adjustable shelves and lower drawers. I especially like the deli/cheese drawer and having two additional drawers for produce. I chose this model as it offered both ice cubes and crushed ice, as well as a water dispenser. The only issue is storing frozen pizza boxes - you lose a shelf of the freezer.

My last Whirlpool lasted 23 years with very few issues This new one has issues right off the get go. the first one is the shelves are not adjustable (a one gallon jug of milk can not stand upright on any of the shelves, secondly the ice maker /water dispenser slops water if you want to use a 30 oz containers thirdly water outlet is out to close to the front of the refrigerator front and splatters all over. The older one was much better in all categories not pleased

It was the only refrigerator with ice & water on the door that would fit the space and it the same as the one I replace except for being newer. We like it very much and everything works well. It is a little noisy otherwise does everything we need.

Overall it seems to work as it should. It appears to run about 1/16-1/8 inch wider than advertised which created some difficulty for me fitting it into the spot I had for it. It also needs to run on coolest setting for it to reach proper temperature. And I personally don™€™t care for the energy saving feature that turns the fan off every time a door is opened because I feel that this could lead to premature fan parts failing due to the constant turning off and on.

It seems like a good refrigerator with the notable positive quality of being among the very few that will fit the space in my kitchen. It has a good cold section and the freezer has a good ice maker. The problem is that the freezer is quite small. The ice maker takes up half the door. I can live with that however the remaining shelves on the door are poorly designed. The walls of the shelves should be thinner to allow better space. I also think the three shelves in the main freezer should be supplied with pull out wire baskets to better use the storage space. I like the temperature controls are good and the refrigerator cools and freezes great.

I was suck buying this Ref. because the former owner put a cabinet above the Ref at only @ 68 inches. I didn't like the EXACT same model because the ice maker went out 3 x in a dozen years we have been here. The lights keep blinking on and off ...sometimes for days. Overall I like Whirlpool products but this special order item doesn't meet it. The new model icemaker takes up way to much space of the freezer

We bought this fridge which came with two dents in the side panel. We were compensated $150 but the dents are there to see forever. Exchanging it for a replacement would have cost another $800 we could not afford. Shelve height not adjustable.. Opening and closing the drawers is rough and flimsy. Temperature is hard to set and control without a thermometer.

I bought this a Month ago and I have had nothing but NOISE issues since. I called Customer Support and they sent a company out that fixed one of the noise Issues. I happens that the Condenser coil on the bottom is too close to the bottom of the Refrigerator and vibrates on teh frame. Even when the Appliance is level. The Solution was to place cardboard between the Coil and the Bottom of the Frame. after this was fixed it revealed I have a fan vibration in the Freezer that is so LOUD that it keeps me awake at night. THe Back inner pannels are not adjusted properly and they vibrate so much that the top of the Refrigerator moves.

Whirlpool not what it used to be

I purchased this Refrigerator expecting the same quality as Ive had in years past. the vibration noise from the condensor coil is bad. the interior fan is very laoud and vibrating as well. I called for service and they came and put a piece of cardboard in between the coil and the bottom of the refrigerator to stop the vibration of the coil on the bottom of the refrigerator as WhirlPool will not allow them to replace or fix the coil! the internal fan is not a part that can be fixed either. yes the refrigerator is running and works but the noice is NOT GOOD!

I™€™m being generous with 3 stars. Wow, is it noisy. The fan motor humming is annoying and loud. I thought the water dispenser is suppose to be cold water. The water is as warm as tap water. I tried upping the settings, to no avail. The water is warm!!! Wow!!! they sure don™€™t build them like they used to. The quality of the cheap plastic drawers and trays, suck. I would not recommend this product.

We ordered this fridge on April 26, 2024 and was delivered on May 8, 2024. Delivery personnel were excellent. I spent time to ensure the fridge was level - bought runners that I added to the rear and one side. All was good for thee weeks - fridge worked great. Then, things with the fridge took a turn - fans still running but temperatures in the fridge side were 14 degrees C. Called Whirlpool - an excellent technician (Dong) came to our home and analyzed the problem. The circuit board that controls the defrosting was defective. This circuit board was replaced 2 days later. One month has passed. All is working good. With this experience, I opted to buy the opted to buy the Extended Warranty Package. This new high efficiency model did replace a Whirlpool model we bought 25 years ago. Not a wonderful start but I do understand circuit boards do fail.

The ice maker takes up too much space leaving very little space for food. I wish the refrigerator had adjustable shelves. It almost runs constantly and there is no way to tell what either the freezer or refrigerator's temperature is set at other than 1 to 5 bars on the console.

Our recently purchased Whirlpool fridge has proven to be a very good decision. There is ample room for all our groceries. The shelves on the door allow for many taller bottles, like milk and juice cartons, tall salad dressing bottles and large jars. The freezer is a bit less roomy than I would have preferred but I am getting used to it. We especially love the ice and water dispenser.

Had this for a week. We like all the space and shelves . More room than my or last side by side. Only complaint so far is the ice dispenser drips some water water from the dispenser.

Works just as needed

This fridge replaced one that had more features, such as spill-proof shelves, an extra ice button, and a temperature indicator. We miss those features. It does have other benefits, though. The old fridge had a drip tray under the dispenser that needed to be removed and cleaned, which we didn't know. So dripping water ran below and rusted out the area. This one also fits much better in the tight space left by the builder for the fridge. Ice production seems slow. Other than that, it cools fine.

The extra deep door shelves are a nice feature but they do limit the depth of the main shelves and the vegetable and fruit drawers. There isn't a main shelf tall enough to accommodate a gallon or half-gallon bottle but the door shelves are deep enough to accommodate them, The ice maker works well and the bin holds a large amount of cubes. There are separate ice and water ports negating the need to constantly switch between ice and water - a nice feature. The temperature regulation is rock solid and the factory defaults work well. All in all a well designed unit.

I love this unit with 2 exceptions. I would like to see better lighting for the water dispenser [ice is good] and I would also like to have variable temperature controls rather than the current 5 fixed settings.

This is a great frig!! I am very impressed with the space, the lighting, and the organization of the space! The freezer is smaller, but I have an extra freezer. The water ice set-up is very efficient. It should have fewer maitenance problems!

I am disappointed that the refrigerator shelves aren't adjustable. That info was not in the description.. There is nothing indicating where the water filter is or when it should be changed.
